I have been curious about retinoids for my under eyes. Especially retinal and retinol. Both are vitamin A derivatives, but retinal is stronger and works faster. I tried three products to see which one gives the best results. Here is my retinol vs retinal review.

It made my under eye skin smoother. But the results were subtle. Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6 was my favorite. (There is also 3 and 10 versions) It is stronger, absorbed quickly, and didnt feel greasy or irritate my skin. After a couple of weeks, I noticed brighter under eyes and smoother skin. Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Serum was gentle and felt nice on my skin, but it did not give results as quickly as Medik8. Overall, I found retinal products gave faster and more noticeable improvements, while retinol felt safer for sensitive or beginner skin. What i learned:
