Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector Honest Review
On October 20, 2025 by kayahandeI bought the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Corrector a few months ago. So I had plenty of time to really test it in different makeup routines. Here is my honest review after months of use.
Texture & Formula
The formula is so lightweight and liquid, almost like water but it performs beautifully. Once applied, it sets quickly and dries to a powdery matte finish (as you see below) which makes it perfect to layer under concealer. It is easy to blend, feels comfortable on the skin, and gives a smooth canvas for the rest of your makeup.

Packaging Design
The packaging is cute and practical. I really like the color selection on the tube. The applicator is easy to use. It doesn’t feel luxurious, but it also does not look cheap. I would say it is medium quality. It is lightweight and travel friendly, making it easy to carry around in your makeup bag.
Peach Shade
I use the shade Peach, which is perfect for correcting under eye purples. It brightens the area naturally without heavy. The color works well for light to medium skin tones. Really makes a difference in neutralizing dark circles before applying concealer.
Longevity
The longevity is excellent. Because it sets so well, it stays in place all day without creasing or fading. Even under concealer, it holds the color correction perfectly from morning to night.
Price & Value
The product is in the medium price range. Considering how well it performs and the quality of the formula, I would say it is worth the price. You are paying for a formula that works reliably.
Final Thoughts
After months of testing, the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector has become a staple in my makeup routine. Its lightweight, liquid formula sets to a matte finish and blends beautifully. It keeps dark circles corrected all day long. The packaging is cute and practical, and the shade works well for brightening the under eye area. The longevity is impressive, making it a reliable color corrector for anyone who wants smooth and bright under eyes.
